Freddie MacLeod – Racial Profiling and Illegal Searches

Freddie MacLeod, a successful Black contractor, was pulled over while visiting family in rural Florida. His wife and daughter were subjected to an illegal strip search on the roadside, despite his daughter’s menstrual cycle. The officers claimed suspicion of drug possession, but it was clear this was racial profiling. We located the informant, conducted a thorough investigation, and assisted in his successful lawsuit against the Jefferson and Leon County Sheriff’s Offices. Justice was served.
